8'0" Model 8002 5/6 Weight...
Based on Paul Young's famous Para 15, this is a true powerhouse and is a great all around rod
for those who enjoy a true parabolic action in a medium weight rod. The blank is a lovely
golden blond, finished in bright orange wraps with red tipping and nickel silver hardware. In
addition, a white/orange blush agate stripper and uplocking black ash burl reel seat on a half
wells grip really set this baby off. This is a two piece, two tip rod with tips matched in
"butterfly" pattern. As is traditional for this Paul Young PT Kellum configuration, one tip is
provided as a 5 weight "dry fly" tip and the other is a slightly heavier 6 weight "wet" tip. Canvas
rod sack and forest green Landmark tube included.
